Gordon Winn is a well-trained singer, having sung in genres ranging from choral music and opera to jazz and rock. At the University of Richmond, Gordon received vocal training and was a member of the University Choir, the Schola Cantorum-an elite chamber choir, Opera Workshops and The Octaves-University of Richmond’s male a capella group. In graduate school, Gordon continued to pursue choral music, singing with the Choir of Middlebury College’s Spanish School in Vermont and in Madrid, Spain. Competent on guitar, Gordon has often collaborated with numerous musicians in Virginia performing at various clubs, bars and parties in acoustic groups. Apart from music, Gordon’s other obsession is the Spanish language. Gordon’s other obsession is the Spanish Language and writing. He has self-published an advanced reader called “Conversaciones Contemporáneas en Castellano” and is currently self-publishing a Children’s book due out in the spring of 2012.
